ABOUT US

Since I moved to the UK and changed careers to care for young children, I have been interested in therapy. While working in residential and nursing homes, as well as visiting people’s homes, I have seen firsthand how individuals struggle with mobility issues and the challenges of ageing. I am driven by my compassion for others – the ability to see their pain, empathise with them, and respond with care. Through my seven years of working for the National Health Service in various roles, I have had the opportunity to explore my passion and study Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Listening, accepting, and creating a safe environment are essential in helping individuals endure physical health challenges and long-term conditions. I am committed to helping alleviate suffering to the best of my ability and believe therapy can be a powerful tool.

My mentee and I look forward to exploring exciting CBT therapies shortly

During the pandemic, I worked in a clinic devoted to treating diabetic ulcers, a complex condition that requires specialised care. We noted that once patients attended our clinic, they stayed with us for a long time. We also noted that younger patients sought our help, indicating the problem’s urgency. Unfortunately, our resources are limited, and we struggled to expand our range of preventative care services.

That’s why I’ve embarked on an exciting journey with Mauve Innovations, a company created with my esteemed mentor, Rose M. Our goal is to optimise services, using design thinking to develop innovative solutions that benefit everyone. In today’s challenging times, finding ways to improve services is more important than ever, and we are committed to positively impacting the world.
